Answers to some of the most frequently ask questions.

Before use

Fully charge the B-Speech before any use (3 - 4 hours).

Voice over IP(with your PC) with B-Speech/-Plus, B-Speech/-Elect/-Vitac?

Yes, this is possible. You'll need a BT Dongle with BT software, which supports the Audiogateway profile.

Can I use the B-Speech/-Plus, B-Speech/-Elect/-Vitac/-Install, with the B-Speech-Handsfree adapter?

Yes, this is possible. In principle all Handys/B Speech products are Handsfree compatible. However you'll need a second adapter, since the b-speech-adapter has only a 2,5 mm jack. Call transfer, language selection, and redial function, however, are not possible.

Problems installing Windows XP Service Pack 2

Note: If you have the Software "WIDCOMM-BTW Bluetooth" installed, a problem with Windows XP service Pack 2 may araise.
In the Service Pack 2, Microsoft included it's own generic Bluetooth driver, naturally being "WHQL-certified". The WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver however is not WHQL-certified, so Windows XP continues using the generic driver. This interferes with the WIDCOMM Bluetooth software resulting in an error.
Maybe this small "How To" can help you out.

Nokia 6600

After a call, the Elect/Vitac disconects from the phone, within a minute or so.
Note: This is due to theNokia firmware. Please check your firmware version with the following combination of keys * # 0000 #. As from version V5.27.0/28.06.04/nhl-10 this problem will be the case. We recommend considering an firmeware update.

Siemens S65

Note: For outgoing calls, press the key "connect to handsfree" on the S65, otherwise the Headset will not work properly. This is due to the Siemens firmware

Siemens S55

While an outgoing call is being established, keep your finger on the S1button until the bluetooth headset symbol appears on your S55 display, right next to the bluetooth symbol.
Note: You will not be able to hear your conversation partner if the S1 button hasn't been pressed!

For our B-Speech®Vitac these informationen apply:

Sony-Ericsson P900

For incoming calls, the S2-button(small) must be pressed, until a melody is heard from the headset–now the connection is established. Unfortunately the ringtone is not to be heard on incoming calls.
Note: If you get the incoming call on your phone–not the headset, the connection is not being established untill you press the S2-button.
